Come out and join Johnny Redd as he says goodbye to the old and hello to the new!
Honor Roll Gang founder, Johnny Redd is championed in the Tucson hip hop community. Known for being a talented filmmaker, producer, performer and hosting some of the dopest hip hop shows in the city, he’s now ending The Private Lounge at The Flycatcher and starting up a new monthly, The Sauce Factory at Bar Passé on 4th.
Joined by fellow HRG member, Nick Arcade, the two will be presenting specially curated playlists all night long. Each month will be something different from the last, but this night will be specifically catered to sounds from Chicago.
If all you listen to is Top 40, this isn’t the place for you… Or maybe it is? Come out and enjoy a night full of dope music you won’t really find on the radio. While doing so, pick up some new gear from the pop-up shop, The Thrift Advocate (Nick Arcade.) Shop local. Support local.
Mark your calendars:
The last Private Lounge showcase will be Thursday, August 3rd. Expect dope live performances.
The Sauce Factory (TSF) will be the first Wednesday of every month (August 2nd is the next one) Expect to hear everything from house music to Saba, and more.
Both events are 21+, free and from 10pm-2am
